Brief Posting Description

Govt school UAE is seeking to appoint Principal to help to achieve mission, goals and objectives and provide leadership to staff in schools including: curriculum review and implementation; professional development; and ongoing staff evaluation. The principal collaborates and communicates regularly with the Director of Schools.

Job Requirement

Applicants must have minimum a Master but preferred a PhD degree in in any Scientific Discipline OR in Engineering, Math field and a teaching qualification/License and minimum of 10 years’ educational experience out of which 5 years working as a Principal. All Nationalities can apply and an academic IELTS certificate of band 7 is required.

Candidate must demonstrate ability to enhance learning through effective integration of ICT into professional practice. All candidates must obtain the Equivalency certificate for their highest qualification/from the MOE, UAE. Local candidates (based in the UAE) should submit the Equivalency certificates before joining and overseas candidates have to submit the UAE attested certificates (High school, Bachelor & Master as applicable) before joining.

Qualification(s)
Bachelor’s degree in a Scientific Discipline
Master’s degree in Engineering, Math, Science or Education

Experience Required
 8 years of teaching experience
 5 years in academic supervisory role
 Experience with teacher support and/or Career Development Planning
 Theories of Management and Finance
 Laws governing School Administration
 Principles of Supervision
 Parent Teacher Association

 Scheduling, prioritizing, advising
 Analytical and constructive thinking
