English Language Evaluator Grade: 6 Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia JOB PURPOSE BAE Systems is the UK Government's nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft and train RSAF personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons. The primary job purpose will be Evaluating English Language Training Teachers assigned to the Training Solution. The jobholder will additionally be capable of delivering effective feedback and undertake teacher development advice and consultation, design and deliver all systems and processes for English language training delivery staff development, ensure either a Recovery Plan (RP) or a Development Plan (DP) is in place. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES The post holder is responsible for: Evaluating new and assigned instructors within English Language Training and document and communicate the results. Liaising with ELT Manager regarding scheduling of instructors for the evaluation process. Engaging with ELT Manager regarding an instructor recovery plan or development plan as required. Providing an induction brief to new instructors explaining the evaluation process for probation and beyond and mentoring where appropriate. Producing reports relating to instructor and teacher evaluations. Maintaining an up to date a system of evaluation documentation such as letters of authorisation for Instructors in accordance with Company Manuals. Continually monitoring the schedules of evaluation for all teachers and instructors to ensure they are current and comply with the relevant department's requirements. Prepare, maintain, organise and update the Training Management Information System (TMIS) for inputting/extracting information, producing reports and feedback, tracking office correspondence, and responding to stakeholder queries. RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION The post holder must: Be degree qualified (or equivalent) in an appropriate subject. Hold an appropriate instructor/teacher qualification from a recognized civilian institute or a Master instructor certificate from the RSAF. Have a CELTA or equivalent, DELTA preferred. Have a previous experience evaluating Instructors. Have extensive English language teaching experience. Be a native English language speaker or hold a current IELTS certificate with a score of 6.5 or above. Have experience of writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS).
