Please note that American  Academy Bahrain currently has several urgent hiring needs for the upcoming academic year 2026-2027.

At this stage, we are specifically seeking American teachers who match our hiring criteria and requirements.

• x10 Homeroom Teachers

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education required

     

• x1 English Teacher

  • IB experience required 

  • Bachelor's Degree in English required 

     

• x1 Math Teacher

  Bachelor's Degree in Math required 

   

• x1 Science Teacher

  • Physics specialization preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Science required 

     

• x1 Social Studies Teacher

  • MYP experience preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in History / Social Studies required

     

• x1 Special Education Teacher

                Bachelor's degree in Special Education required

Salary & Benefits

Start Date: August 2026

Tax-Free Salary: USD $2,500 – $4,000 per month (depending on qualifications and experience)

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or a relevant field
• Recognised teaching qualification or teaching licence preferred
• Minimum two years of teaching experience preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Ability to effectively integrate technology into teaching and learning
